4. I have suddenly stopped receiving emails. What can be happening?First thing to check is your connection to the internet. Are you able to view websites? If the answer is no, you will need to contact your internet service provider (ISP) such as Bigpond or iinet. Perhaps they are experiencing an outage or have a scheduled service taking place.
If you can view websites, the next thing to check is your own website. Can you view it? If not, you will need to check that your domain name has not expired. The usual registration time for a domain name is 1 or 2 years. If you think this may be the case you will need to immediately contact the reseller you purchased the domain name from to arrange for renewal. Tip: When purchasing a domain, make a note in your electronic diary of the expiry date two months in advance and make sure they have your current contact details. If the domain name is in order, the next check is your mailbox quota. Exceeding your quota will cause email sent to your email address to bounce back to the sender with a "Mailbox full" type error. To solve this, log in to web-based email at: http://www.yourdomain.name.com.au/webmail using your emaill address and password Once log in is accepted, choose the Squirrelmail option. From here, go through your online mailbox and moved all the messages you have already received to the trash folder. Be sure to also delete the messages from the trash folder a second time. Once you have removed the emails it will take approximately 4 hours for the quota to recheck and reset itself. If your hosting is with the Mandala Online Business platform, the log in address is slightly different: http://mail.yourdomain.name.com.au. Login and proceed to delete the received messages from the online mailbox. To prevent the same problem occurring, check the mailbox settings. In Entourage go to Tools > Accounts. Double click on the mailbox name. Click the options button. "Server option" should have no boxes checked.
